Casca

Casca is composed by Italian and Polish immigrants who settled there, developing their culture and education proposal, passed from generation to generation, leaving deep marks evidenced through religiosity spirit, love to family or a rich gastronomy. Casca town is located in Alto Taquari micro region, it has a great green area, with predominance of “araucária” (a pine tree) and there are crystalline water rivers and streams which irrigate valleys and mountains. There are four well-defined seasons, tempered climate, hard frost in winter and occasionally it snows. The economy is diversified and it keeps equilibrium between agricultural and industrial vocation, interlinked sectors to a comprehensive commerce and a quality service provision.
